This replaces the R49060, which is virtually non-existent if you are lucky enough to find one, chances are the degradation of the synthetic rubber has already started as this part has been out of production for several years.<br>This cable is used on the Raytheon/Raymarine Ray215 VHF radio. We do not have cables for other models, just the Ray215.<br>We have designed this replacement to provide a way for those with the Ray215 to continue using their radios. The main differences between our mic cord and the original are:<br>Color - Ours is black, the original is a gray color<br>Cable entry strain relief to microphone - We custom designed and 3D printed this part for exact fitment<br>Connection to radio - Our connector is a "straight" connector, whereas the original was a right angle connector<br>We have designed the assembly to be user-replaceable using included instructions that will accompany each replacement cable assembly. Each cable is individually tested to ensure proper function.
