Antique Radio Grille Cloth Pattern #4
I've been selling grill cloth on eBay for the past 15 years or so, but recently decided to sell out all my remaining stock and then not carry any more.
I bought two bolts of this gorgeous fabric about 15 years ago, and I am literally down to the absolute last 5 pieces left.
Pattern #4 is a reversible! rayon/poly blend. Front has tiny gold/brass flecks in a random pattern, on an antique-gold background. Reverse has antique-gold flecks on a shiny, brass-colored background. Works great on any number of classic radios like Crosley, Fada, Zenith, and many others.
This listing is for one 10" x 12" piece of this fabric
, big enough for two small tabletop sets or one large cathedral or tombstone. HOWEVER, these 5 pieces are contiguous for the moment, that is, uncut. So,
if you want the most flexibility, order quantities of 2 or more and I can send them to you in larger, uncut pieces
equivalent to the area of the individual pieces, but you'll get more flexibility in how you use it for much less wasted fabric. As a hypothetical example, if you order all 5 pieces that remain, you'll get it in a 25" x 25" square.
(This fabric is pictured as installed on several items: a Bremer-Tulley extension loudspeaker and the Crosley Fiver, photos courtesy of Steven Johannessen at www.stevenjohannessen.com; the Zenith "Racetrack" provided courtesy of Tony D'Amore, the Firestone console courtesy of Dale Allen, and the Zenith black dial is courtesy of Louis Zager.
This auction is for the SPEAKER FABRIC ONLY. All other items pictured above are included for comparison purposes only. The radios/speakers themselves are NOT INCLUDED in the auction)
If the pic above is not enough to decide which pattern(s) you need, see my other items to buy a sample sheet with 2"x2" swatches of all my available patterns.
